Every care is taken to ensure that all children are well prepared for next stage and that they receive the education that is best suited to their varying levels of ability. The curriculum aims to be broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated according to a child’s individual ability. At Kids At Heart we firmly believe in giving a firm grounding in basic skills with high priority given to numeracy and literacy.

We have small class sizes with the lower classes having a full-time teaching assistant in addition to the class teacher. Class placement is dependent on a child’s age, not on academic ability. Within the class, differing levels of assessment provide differentiated learning.
